A bit of exercise every day is vital to keeping your body in excellent health. You don't have to have a fancy gym membership to get your exercise: a romp in the park with your pet or a walk around your neighborhood are good for your heart and general health.

Many people try to cut down the quantity of food they eat, however, the quality and kinds of foods you eat are even more important to your health. With a little education and instruction, you can make delicious AND nutritious meals and snacks, and literally eat your way to health.

2. Group Wellness Counseling

Group programs are designed for clubs, organizations or any small group of individuals.  Group counseling can be done from two individuals on up.

Group settings are unique because they offer you the opportunity to share your concerns with others who are experiencing the same feelings.  Group members offer encouragement, keep each other on track and provide inspiration by sharing successes and setbacks in a safe, confidential and supportive environment.

3. Corporate Wellness Counseling/Education

Corporate programs are designed to meet the needs of your business.  We offer workplace programs to small and mid-size employers.

Fortune 500 companies are spending significant amounts of money on corporate wellness programs.  Why?  A healthier work force increases worker productivity and reduces absenteeism and health insurance costs.

Through our individual counseling, workshops and/or lunch-and-learn programs we help employees lower their stress levels and increase their energy and productivity.  By making diet and lifestyle changes employees can mitigate the ill effects of a desk-bound office environment.

Working women struggle to achieve balance between the demands of work and personal life.  Stress and fatigue are an underlying cause of many women's health issues.

A recent study in the Journal of Occupational Environmental Medicine reports this link.  The authors concluded that “Interventions targeting workers with fatigue, particularly women, could have a marked positive effect on quality of life and productivity of affected workers.”  Learning how to make healthy food choices along with some simple lifestyle changes will increase energy and overall well being.
